Life and Times of The Fairy Godmother

07.12.08
I am the Fairy Godmother.
I AM the Fairy Godmother.
I am THE Fairy Godmother.
I keep telling my husband this. Three months ago I decided to quit my "day job" as a paralegal (and former nurse), to pursue my dream. My own business. Not "just" a business...but a DREAM.
So, here I am, THE Fairy Godmother in my princess dress-up themed tea parties. Where else can a grown woman dress up in a Fairy Godmother outfit, complete with Tiara and Wand, and get away with it? I take my business to THEIR house, set up my Fairy Tale Dream of every little girl and they have THE party of a lifetime. And mine. It is not work, it is fun. I don't work anymore, I have fun. I am living my dream - and I thank my four daughters, who have taught me how to play, pretend and have tea parties.
Oh yea, and THE Fairy Godfather.

What a fabulous idea! It's so great to hear about people choosing to do their dream job and making it work. The parties look like they must be a blast.
My daughter is still a little young for your events, but I was just thinking of how I'd search for a business like yours once she's a bit older.
I'd probably Google Search for "birthday party ideas" or "girls birthday party dallas". If you're hoping to get some business this way, it might be worth optimizing your website for keywords like these...
I'd suggest including them in the title of each page and using them in headings throughout the content (enclosed between H1 tags in HTML). You can also add them, where appropriate, as alternate text for your photos (most on your photo page look like they're missing alt text).
(I know you didn't ask for input, but websites are sort of like princess parties for me... work and fun. ;) )
Congrats on creating your dream job - and also on the great media coverage you've gotten so far! I hope the parties continue to be a huge success.
