Expect the Unexpected.
By Maria Pilar Clark
Like me, I'm sure you're armed to the teeth while out and about with the kids, thinking up ways to avoid meltdowns and full blown disasters be it with novel snacks tucked away in the diaper bag or licensed character band-aids in your briefcase.
Emergency Cafe takes the idea of prevention and protection a step further with a line of affordable personal emergency kits that keeps the whole family, including Fido, covered in case of a disaster.
I mean, yeah, everyone has a flashlight handy in case of a blackout, a few water bottles in the fridge just in case, and maybe even some extra cans of food that could survive a nuclear fallout, but how many emergency essentials like whistles, duct tape, non-aspirin tablets, and infectious materials bags do you have lying around?
My guess is not many if any.
Emergency Cafe's kits have all those things plus more (think tips for creating a family emergency plan) than you could ever imagine, easily accessible in formats suitable for the office, car, school and home. Just think of it as another form of mom ammo when something a little more unexpected than a hungry tummy or skinned knee arises.
